Sushi Chef FULL TIME

The Market is looking for a smiling, friendly person to fill the position of Full Time Sushi Chef.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Customer Service
  • Prepare rice and sushi ingredients as directed
  • Process incoming deliveries of sushi department inventory
  • Ensure company standards are met for food preparation, quality and presentation; follow all food safety regulations during processes
  • Perform opening and closing duties of department
  • Assist with product ordering and inventory as required

Candidates must:

  • Be minimum of 18 years old
  • Have 1+ years of knife handling skills or kitchen experience; previous Sushi experience preferred
  • Be able to lift over 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
  • Be able to work nights/weekends as fits department needs
  • Be able to follow recipes
  • Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
